UPDATE!!

Hey Y'all!!

 I know it has been since freakin Thanksgiving since my last post... WHOA that's ways too long!!

I don't think I ever realized how demanding Dental Hygiene school would be until I jumped in head first...  Most days I feel like I am going to school to be a DOCTOR. Not the case, not yet anyway.

A LOT has happened since my last post.

Of course lots of everything dental related in the crazy whirlwind of DH school....

My BESTFRIEND got married!!! :)

I prepared the most ridiculous MOH speech for her wedding and sang it to everyone. I was so SCARED, but since it was ment to be funny that helped... I coulda made an A$$ out of myself and it still would have been ok. lol

The lyrics were to the oldschool beat of Hello Mudda, Hello Fadda. I'll have to post the lyrics up so y'all can read my ridiculousness!!

Along with Ashley's wedding came NEW YEARS CELEBRATIONS!!!!... Yea the photo booth was a HIT!

While in town for Ash's wedding I got to spend lots of QT with my family and FINALLY MEET MY NEPHEW RIVER!!!

I LOVE HIM SOO MUCH!

I QUIT MY JOB!!!!

Yep, I finally did it!! I am officially unemployed... and it feels GREAT!! There is absolutely no way I could have continued working and done well in DH school. So, I said farewell.

 NO MORE INSURANCE BUSINESS= LOVING LIFE.

Enjoyed some time not working with MAC. The weather has been amazing this winter. This was earlier this month. It was so nice, we HAD to go to the BEACH. Mac LOVED it. I think he missed the beach more than I did.

I've started to prepare for my next 1/2 Marathon. THE DIVA RACE!! I  talked a few of my 1/2 marathon virgin girlfriends into running it with me... We are going to have a blast!!! We will be spending the weekend in Myrtle Beach late May to run along the water with our boas and tiaras!! Cant wait!

My man got news that he will be deploying.... and he has been GONE A LOT doing workups.

:(

 Not fun. I'm looking forward to his pre-deployment leave so we can spend some QT together before he heads off. This will be the 1st time that we will be apart for an extended period.

.....

I am trying to stay positive at all times... but I cant help to not worry just a bit. I'm hoping that this deployment will be okay and I wont go INSANE- loosing sleep and constantly worrying.

Just thankful I have an amazing support network of wives that will be truckin along right next to me through this deployment. Love these ladies!!

I feel so blessed to have made some great friendships with these ladies.

I remember when I first moved to NC, knowing NOONE, crying to my husband that I had no friends here.

 I had the hardest time meeting GOOD friends... for the 1st two years or so I would make friends, and come to find out later that these girls were no good- cheating on their hubby's and stuff like that.... no good! Can't associate myself with peeps like that! 

....
