Update!

YES, I am still alive!!

My last post seems like it was ages ago...
Everything Dental Hygiene has consumed my life!!

Not much has changed here. I am still always studing, always looking forward to breaks and ARKANSAS football on the weekends, and still LOVING every minute of sleep I can get!! :)

Mac has been rootin' on the Hogs with us every weekend... isnt he cute in his AR gear? :)

School has had its ups and downs lately. I thought I had failed my first clinical proficiency on Monday, but somehow I passed (barely)... and then I pulled off a 100 on the next one. How I managed that is beyond me. Just happy things are looking up for me, for the moment that is. AND... I am happy to report that I have managed to not ball my eyes or have a nervous breakdown in clinic... SO FAR SO GOOD, I SUPPOSE!

We are down to 20 students now, and we haven't even made it through the 1st semester.  Yikes! Every time someone gets dropped my heart sinks a little bit. I feel so bad for them... it is extremely hard to get into this program and to fail out would break my heart as I am sure it has them. Hopefully I can keep pushing through and make it to that light at the end of my tunnel. :)

Ok, enough about school.

Since my last post I have....

Completed a few Pinterest projects... Here is one of them, A sign I hand painted for my girlfriends housewarming gift.

Think it turned out pretty well. If you want to do something like this, let me know. I have a tip that makes it so much easier... and no its not stencils!

I have been enjoying this cooler weather as I am sure you all have as well.
 My runs have been so much easier!! Training over the summer in the high 90's was miserable.

 We havent ran the a/c or heater in almost 2 months :)
 It's kinda sad how I can't wait to see how cheap my electric bill will be this month.

As for Halloween this year... No fun costumes to report. :(
 But we did carve/ paint some pumpkins with some friends... This was fun, but I'll admit... not nearly as fun as dressing up! Theres ALWAYS next year.

I've been planning a baby shower for my girlfriend Amanda. It's a guy/girl shower AND its going down this weekend...  I cant wait to put some more pinterest inspired ideas to use. Pictures coming soon!

I know, nothing too exciting. My life has been drifting into the boring category lately. :/
