Today that satisfaction was 6 miles!! I hadn't ran that far in over a year... and it felt GREAT!! I feel like I should be passed out right now, but I'm actually hyper. I'm going to have to drink some chamomile or something, otherwise I'll be a zombie tomorrow at work...[that would be no good]
So far this 1/2 marathon training is going well! I cant wait to cross that finish line in September!!! Now that will be some real satisfaction!
So how was everybody's weekend? I hope good!
Mine was jam packed as always... I don't know why I spread myself so thin. I guess I just don't want to get bored while the hubby's away, so I end up taking on 50 million projects and making way too many plans.
...
Friday, I went out in Wilmington with two of my favorite couples... And yes, I was basically a third wheel, but it didn't feel that way. :) We had a great time just hanging out, dancing, and stuffing our faces with New York style pizza on our way back to the car. Yuummmm!! Nothings better than greasy pizza after a night out dancing! The night would have been absolutely perfect if only Mike would have been there!! I cant wait for him to get home already!
Saturday I spent some time on the beach with one of my girlfriends and this guy....
I got a salmon cooking lesson, mowed my yard... and to sum up my Sunday- Wal Mart, Lowes and flowerbeds... FUN! Oh, and I cant leave out getting royally screwed my Orbitz! $250 to change a flight departure time. Its crazy what they charge!! I will definitely be purchasing flight insurance from here on out!
Most of you all probably celebrated Fathers Day on Sunday. Unfortunately, I don't have a relationship with my Father... so Father's Day has never meant much to me. In the past few years that has changed thanks to my Father In-Law. He is a great guy, and has made Father's Day mean a lot more. We didn't get to spend the day with him this year, but he will be here for M.'s graduation from training next week. Sure we will get in plenty of QT with him then :)
Hope all of you were able to spend some time with your dads this weekend... or at least give them a call and wish them a Happy Father's Day!

You are so gorgeous!
Yay for 6 miles! If you can do 6 you will have no problem completing the half! I can't wait to start running again but I know it's going to be slow starting! :)
